Privacy Policy

Thank you for reviewing the Privacy Policy for binaryarmor.com, your web portal into GAI Technologies (“GAI”). This Privacy Policy further applies to the entire network of GAI Sites including, but not limited to the websites of GAI’s subsidiaries and affiliates. GAI is sensitive to the issue of confidentially in online dealings and is committed to protecting individual privacy. This Privacy Policy is intended to inform user about the general approach GAI uses in collecting, using and disseminating user information via binaryarmor.com or other GAI Sites.

What data do we collect automatically and why?
When you visit binaryarmor.com and you have not otherwise identified yourself (e.g., via registration with an GAI Site), our web server automatically recognizes your domain name, but not your e-mail address. We collect the domain name and monitor general site use and traffic pattern to improve our web site and the products and services we offer. GAI uses web server logs to collect data for metric purposes. Examples of the types of data collected on the logs are IP addresses, referral pages, date and time of Site access, and Site visited. We may use collected data to customize the content and/or layout of our page for each individual visitor.

Do we collect personal information?
In some cases, GAI requests personally identifiable information from you in order to satisfy the underlying transaction or purpose of your accessing the Site. We receive and store any information you enter on our website or give to us in any other way.  For example, you provide information when you place an order through our online store or one of our third-party sellers; communicate with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise; complete a questionnaire; participate in Discussion Boards; or sign up for e-mail alerts.  Examples of personally identifiable information include names, e-mail addresses, mailing addresses, and the like. You may supply GAI with personal data of a sensitive nature (e.g., race or ethnic origin, sexual orientation) in connection with an employment application, but GAI does not automatically collect or use such personal data. Please note that we do not consider aggregated information, from which personally identifiable information has been removed, to be private.

If you register on an GAI site, how will your information be used and secured?
We use information collected about you in accordance with legal bases to comply with our legal obligations, to protect the rights, property, or safety of GAI employees, customers and other third parties.

Additionally, we may use information you share to market and promote products or services that we believe may be of interest to you. If you prefer that we do not use your data for marketing purposes, you are always free to notify us through relevant ‘unsubscribe’ options or contact us directly. Your information may also be used to improve your user experience.

We take all reasonable measures to protect your personal data and ensure it is only disclosed where there is a legitimate business or legal reason to do so.  While we take our duty to protect your personal data very seriously, please remember that any transmission of data is at your own risk.

Do we share the information we receive?
Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others.  We share customer information only as described below and with subsidiaries and affiliates that are subject to this Privacy Notice or follow practices at least as protective as those described in this Privacy Notice.

Third-Party Service Providers: We use other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links (including paid listings and links), processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

Business Transfers: As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy subsidiaries or business units. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Notice (unless, of course, the customer consents otherwise). Also, in event that GAI or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets.

Protection of GAI and Others: We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of GAI, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Obviously, however, this does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from customers for commercial purposes in violation of the commitments set forth in this Privacy Notice.

Consent: Other than as described above, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.

Is GAI GDPR-compliant?
GAI complies with the European Union’s (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal data from EU member countries and all other applicable data privacy laws. GAI adheres to the requirements of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access and enforcement.

At any time, you may object to the processing of your personal data except where otherwise permitted by law.  If you wish to exercise your rights under the GDPR or other applicable data privacy laws you should feel free to email, call, or write to us.

What about children’s privacy?
GAI asks children under 18 not to transmit any information to the Site. GAI welcomes the parent or guardian of a child under the age of 13 to use the Site and provide any information, service, or product gained for the Site for their child. The Learning Center page does not gather identifiable personal information and is operated as a static Site for informational purposes only.

Do we use Cookies or Tracers?
Cookies are small data files placed on your hard drive by a website server when you visit. binaryarmor.com may use cookies set by GAI or other companies for tracking purposes or to make the Site easier to use. Cookies are currently the only way to effectively identify a unique anonymous visitor and understand how they navigate our web site. An anonymous visitor to our site remains anonymous in all cases. We do not attempt to identify visitors if they do not voluntarily submit personal information to us. Like many websites, binaryarmor.com does not currently respond to “do not track” browser headers. But with most internet browsers, you can take steps to limit tracking by erasing cookies from your computer’s hard drive and by setting your browser to block all cookies or warn you before a cookie is stored. Cookies offer enhanced functionality to the user, but whether you allow a cookie to be placed on your computer is up to you.

In some instances, we use tracking scripts or “tracers” that recognize a unique identifier from a cookie placed on your hard drive by another website. These are used by GAI solely to gauge the success of our own advertising. For instance, we may use a tracer to determine whether you visit our employment pages after visiting a resume or career site where GAI placed a banner ad. We do not use tracers to gather information on your use of internet unrelated to GAI. Please note that GAI does not use tracers to identify your personal information, and you remain anonymous unless and until you choose to register.

What if data is transmitted internationally?
If you are one of our international guests, we realize that you may want to know whether your personal information will be transferred out of your country of origin. Please be aware that when you register or request a transaction on an GAI Site, your personal data may be transferred to computers in the United States in order to process your request.

Does this apply to all of the GAI Sites?
This applies to all of GAI Sites including, but not limited to the websites of GAI’s subsidiaries and affiliates.

What about external links?
For the convenience of our Site visitors, GAI may provide links to third party web sites that are external to GAI. These web sites are not operated or controlled by GAI, and GAI is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such external web sites.

How do we keep current?
From time to time, GAI may revise this Privacy Policy at its discretion. We note the date of the policy below, so you know when it was last updated. GAI advises you to check back periodically to review the Privacy Policy because users of the Site will be prospectively bound by the then-current version of this Privacy Policy.

What about children’s privacy?
GAI asks children under 18 not to transmit any information to the Site, including name, email and shipping address. GAI welcomes the parent or guardian of a child under the age of 18 to use the Site and provide any information, service, or product gained for the Site for their child. The Learning Center page does not gather identifiable personal information and is operated as a static Site for informational purposes only.
