The data inspection and validation ability of Binary Armor is enhanced by its ability to initiate and maintain Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption between itself and an end-point. The TLS connection ensures that the receiving node is known and trusted (authenticated), and communications between Binary Armor and the receiving node is private (confidential). Trusting the TLS encryption implementation is also important, which is why the FIPS 140-2 certification of Binary Armor is another indicator of Binary Armor’s proven trustworthiness as a cybersecurity device.
To assist with modernization of networks, Binary Armor encryption solutions are also available in the Binary Gateway™ software application as a standalone capability. Binary Gateway is a software application available on a wide range of devices that can add encryption to any existing network communications without the need for hardware installation.
